Board of Directors
Jeremy
Jeremy (Jed) Richman born in Montreal and married with three children and two grandchildren, is the cofounder of Harmony Living.
He is both a business professional and educator. Working his way up through the ranks, occupying several senior management positions and serving as a consultant with major corporations and multinationals such as Nestle, Parmalat, McKesson, UPA to name a few, Jed managed sales marketing and business development and building brands and bringing new products to market. Founding and managing his consulting firm since 2001, Jed has also owned and operated several successful food service outlets.
For the past 6 decades, Jed has been involved with and supported professionally and voluntarily a variety of organizations that provide valuable services to members of our community who present with differences. Whether it be on the front lines, serving as executive management, fundraising, and marketing or actively providing governance on a board of directors, he has been able to support youth in crisis through KidsHelpPhone, worked with Batshaw, CROM, Big brothers, and Children Wish just to name a few.
Graduating from Concordia University with a degree in human applied sciences and psychology, during his tenure in the corporate world Jed attended the University of Western Ontario for the Richard Ivey school executive business program. Most recently, he returned to his alma mater for a Master’s degree in adult education, where his thesis focussed on proving the effectiveness of an entrepreneurial approach in facilitating the acquisition of life skills with young neurodivergent adults. Pursuing his PhD is currently on hold.
Jed’s most recent activities focused on his role on the Board of the Massawippi Valley Health Foundation and supporting and sustaining a Coop clinic and his work with youth who present with physical and often accompanying intellectual deficiencies serving on the board and then as interim Exec Director and Project manager for Camp Massawippi.
Jed’s work in the field and personal trials and experiences with his own son confirm firsthand that there are currently little to no facilities compatible for semi-autonomous neuro divergent adults and so in the spirit of necessity being the mother of invention, he decided to partner up with passionate well-trained professionals to create and sustain Harmony Living.
Marc-Olivier
Marc-Olivier (Marco) Naraynsingh is the co-founder of Harmony Living and has always been driven by values of inclusion, accessibility, and adaptability. He is dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and richly connected living environment.
Before launching Harmony Living, Marco developed a strong expertise at Camp Massawippi (2018–2025), where he held roles ranging from lifeguard and counselor to consultant, and eventually Operations Coordinator and Human Resources Representative. He led the day camps, summer camps, and respite programs, supervising up to 95 staff members and more than 200 campers presenting with physical disabilities, while overseeing camper personal care, recruitment, staff training, project management, and partner relations. In 2024, he was a speaker at the Annual Conference of the Quebec Camps Association, presenting “Empowering Young Camp Managers.”
Deeply involved in his community, he served on the Board of Directors of Action Handicap Estrie and contributed to various accessibility initiatives, including the accessible outdoor guide produced by the AQLPH and Kéroul.
A graduate of the Institutional and Home Personal Assistance program (DEP), holder of a DEC in Social Sciences, and trained as a National Lifeguard, Marc-Olivier also holds several professional certifications: OMEGA, PDSP, URSA Major, first aid, GROW coaching, CRF-DAFA, and more.
At Harmony Living, he brings his experience and commitment to a clear vision: offering a place where every resident is welcomed with respect, supported according to their needs, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Olivier
Born and raised in Montreal, Olivier Nguyen grew up in an environment where community was at the heart of daily life. This closeness with people shaped his vision of medicine and guided him toward a practice rooted in human connection, active listening, and meaningful support.
As a 2025 medical graduate of the Université de Montréal, he has a particular interest in sport and exercise medicine, rehabilitation, community care, and acute care. His path has also been influenced by many years of judo, which taught him discipline, perseverance, and respect—values he carries into his clinical practice.
His involvement with young people with disabilities and his experience at Camp Massawippi have deepened his understanding of the diversity of human needs and strengthened his compassionate, person-centered approach.
Olivier is currently pursuing training in chronic pain and is participating in a research project on concussions at the Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal, focusing on prevention and safe return to activity.
His professional values are grounded in interdisciplinary collaboration, quality of care, and taking the time to truly know each person. He hopes to practice as a community-rooted family physician, with a particular interest in musculoskeletal issues, health prevention, and the development of care settings that are both human-centered and accessible.
